  • Managing COVID-19 Risks on productions Course and COVID-19 Supervisor Course completed.
  • Using my own car to reach locations where possible – no car sharing.
  • Asking to provide an isolated area for the sound mixer where possible.
  • Wearing personal protective equipment and face coverings.
  • Using radio microphones so that sound crew do not travel in tracking vehicle or picture vehicles. To guarantee the maximum safely of sound gears on set by minimising any risks of infection – from organising a personal bag and sound tools for each talent to providing technical cleaning wipes and sanitisers. Hygiene comes first!
  • Taking advantage of all kind of boom poles, mic stands and plant microphones wherever possible.
  • Supplying a speaker on-set for off-set director to communicate with actors (actors speak back using their radio mics).
  • Providing intercom communications between director and crew.
  • Cleaning the all equipment returning from film locations and clients.
  • Being always updated to the UK Government’s and British Film Commission (BFC) COVID-19 recovery strategy.
